About the race
Lake Country Half Marathon is an event held in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin on 08/28/2027. The start area is at the Village Green (104 E Wisconsin Ave) and the finish is at City Beach on the shores of Lac La Belle. The program features running and ruck options.

The course begins in downtown Oconomowoc and proceeds north along the isthmus between Fowler Lake and Lac La Belle. The route then turns west through the Village of Lac La Belle, follows the shoreline, and opens onto countryside roads. On the return the route follows the lake's western edge back toward Wisconsin Avenue, with the final section leading to the finish at City Beach on Lac La Belle.
Registration opens 08/29/2026 and closes 05/31/2027. Published entry fees are $65.00 for the half marathon and $55.00 for each 8 mile event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
