Lake Benbrook Marathon & Half Marathon & 5K
The Lake Benbrook event returns for its 39th annual running on Saturday, January 23, 2027, at Dutch Branch Park in Benbrook, Texas. Organized by Cox Running Club, the event includes a half marathon, a new 10K distance, and a 5K, with routes that feature scenic sections along Lake Benbrook. Route maps are to be announced.
Registration includes early-bird pricing through December 1, 2026, with tiered pre-registration and higher race day fees. Early-bird prices are: half marathon $75, 10K $45, and 5K $35. Pre-registration continues through January 22, 2027, with increasing fees and race day registration available at a higher rate.
All participants receive a men’s/unisex long sleeve technical event shirt; sizes are guaranteed only for those registered by January 15, 2027, after which shirt sizes are available while supplies last. All finishers in the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K will receive a custom finisher medal.
Packet pickup includes a race day pickup at the race site and an early packet pickup that is to be announced. Cox Racing Services will provide chip timing and live results. Awards will be presented for overall Male and Female, Master and Grandmaster categories, and three deep in age groups ranging from 12 & Under through 80 & Over; awards must be picked up at the race site and will not be mailed.
