Lake Benbrook Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K : January 23, 2027
The Lake Benbrook event returns for its 39th edition, presented by Cox Running Club. The event is recognized as the oldest half marathon in the DFW Metroplex and takes place at Dutch Branch Park in Benbrook, Texas. Routes run along Lake Benbrook and are described as scenic; route maps are listed as TBD.
Distances offered:
- Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles
- 10K - 6.2 Miles
- 5K - 3.1 Miles
All finishers in the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K receive a custom finisher medal. Participants will also receive a men’s/unisex long-sleeve technical event shirt; sizes are guaranteed only for registrations completed by January 15, 2027, after which shirts are available while supplies last.
Packet pickup procedures include an early pickup option (details TBA) and race day packet pickup at the race site. Awards are given overall and in masters and grandmasters categories, plus age-group awards three deep in each race. Age groups range from 12 & Under up to 80 & Over. Awards must be picked up at the race site and will not be mailed.
The event will be chip-timed by Cox Racing Services, and live results will be available through Cox Racing Services. Registration includes tiered pricing for early, pre-registration, and race day entries for each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
