Lahaina Strong Charity Mile & 5K Run/Walk
The Lahaina Strong Charity Mile & 5K is a community fundraising event on September 19, 2026 at Kaanapali Golf Course on Honoapiilani Hwy in Lahaina, HI 96793. The event raises support for community members and organizations on the west side of Lahaina following the wildfire.
The event offers two distances:
- 1 Mile
- 5K
Entries are open to children and adults. Participants may run or walk, and the event is presented as a noncompetitive charity activity. Medals with the Lahaina Strong logo and additional participant goodies will be distributed to both keiki and adult participants. The 5K will be timed manually, while the mile will not be officially timed.
Packet pick-up is available the day before at the Kaanapali Golf Course hallway adjacent to the golf store between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, and on the day of the event starting at 6:00 AM at the start line. Parking is provided on the grass next to hole number 1 at the Kai Course across from the clubhouse. The course is described as flat and located on the golf course.
Registration categories and listed prices include a keiki mile for USD 20, an adult mile for USD 25, and a 5K for USD 35. Virtual options are offered for both distances at the same listed prices. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
