Lago Liberty Days Firecracker 5K & 10K
The Lago Liberty Days Firecracker event offers two measured running options through the Lago Vista hill country on July 4 at Heather Park in Lago Vista, Texas. The event lists the following distances:

Participants receive finisher medals. Patriotic costumes are encouraged and prizes are indicated as a possibility. Leashed dogs are permitted on the course. Children age 12 and under may run free when accompanied by a registered adult. The course passes areas with views of Lake Travis and the Texas Hill Country, and the run is presented as part of a full day of local parade and fireworks activities.
Registration opens March 23 and the organizer provides tiered pricing across registration periods. The initial pricing period and early and standard registration windows include different fees for the 5K and 10K. Published fee levels include a lower introductory price for the 5K and 10K, higher early registration prices, and higher standard prices beginning in June.
