Lag Bon 10K
The Lag Bon 10K is a trail running fundraiser dedicated to World Water Day. The event is scheduled for March 22, 2026, at the Lake Lagunitas Picnic Area at the end of Sky Oaks Road in Fairfax, CA. All ticket sales collected in excess of event costs will be donated to the NGO Evidence Action for their Safe Water Now program.
The course is a 10 km trail that combines technical sections and easier trails. Participants will encounter stairs, bridges, roots and rocks as well as stretches of flat trail. Elevation gain and loss is approximately 400 feet. Start and finish are at the Lagunitas picnic area. Aid stations and bathrooms are located after Bon Tempe Dam at the 3.5 mile point and at the start/finish. The event is held rain or shine and conditions may be cold, wet and muddy. There is a two hour time limit to complete the course due to permit restrictions; a walking pace is not recommended. No dogs or strollers are allowed.
Registration is limited to 100 runners. The registration fee is $50 and includes an event T-shirt, finisher medal, stickers and GU energy gels or chews. Registrations after March 6 may not receive requested shirt sizes. Race day registration is not available and bib transfers are not allowed.
