Ladies' 10K
The Ladies' 10K is a women's 10 km road race held in Ipplepen. The Race HQ is at Ipplepen Village Hall, located just off the A381 between Newton Abbot and Totnes. There is free parking at the Village Hall and plenty of toilets.
The course leaves the village, passes Orley Common and follows quiet country lanes toward Totnes, turning back at Reeveacre Cross. It continues down to Two Bridges, runs beside the railway, goes under the railway and returns to Ipplepen. After passing Yarneford Copse the route heads toward Biltor Cross for a short run back to the finish at the Village Hall.
Entries are online only and the race has a strict limit of 300 entrants; day entries are only accepted if the limit has not been reached. Registration opens at 8:30am. Headphones and earphones are not permitted and will result in disqualification.
A donation of £1.50 per entry will go to Rowcroft Hospice. All finishers receive a unique memento. Prizes are awarded to the first five ladies, and first and second in age categories U18, V35, V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65 and V70. Team prizes are given to the first two teams with four to count. Entrants aged 15 to 17 have free entry. Number transfers are accepted only on race day at Race HQ with a £3 administration charge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
