Ladies' 10K
The Ladies' 10K is a women's 10 km road race held in Ipplepen on Sunday 27 June 2027. Race headquarters is at Ipplepen Village Hall, located just off the A381 between Newton Abbot and Totnes. The Village Hall offers free parking and toilets.
The course leaves the village, passes Orley Common and follows quiet country lanes toward Totnes before a sharp turn at Reeveacre Cross. It continues down to Two Bridges, runs beside the railway, goes under the railway and returns to Ipplepen. After Yarneford Copse the route heads to Biltor Cross for a short run back to the finish at the Village Hall.
Entries open in February and are accepted online only. There is a strict limit of 300 entrants; entries on the day are only possible if the limit has not been reached. Fifteen to seventeen year olds receive free entry. Number transfers are accepted only on race day at Race HQ with an administration charge of £3. Race numbers are collected on the day from Race HQ.
Headphones and earphones are not permitted and wearing them will result in disqualification. A unique memento is given to all finishers. Prizes are awarded to the first five ladies and to first and second in the listed age categories, with team prizes for the first two teams counting four runners. The chosen charity is Rowcroft Hospice and £1.50 from each entry will be donated. Refreshments are available before, during and after the race, including Trotter cakes.
