Lace Up For Learning Charity Run
Lace Up For Learning is an annual charity run that raises funds to support local education and classroom projects. The event is organized by five tenth grade friends and operates as a registered nonprofit. It takes place in Folsom, California, with activities centered near Cohn Park and the Parkway community trails.
The event includes multiple participation options:

- 10k
- Kids fun run obstacle course for children under age 8
All 5k and 10k participants receive a running bib, an event t-shirt, and an event-specific medal. Children who take part in the fun run receive a generic medal. Running bibs and t-shirts are distributed at event check-in. Event t-shirts are only guaranteed for participants who register before April 14th.
The course uses public trails and is open to families; strollers are allowed and dogs are permitted on the trails. Parking options mentioned include free street parking in the neighborhood and a nearby school parking lot. On-site amenities described for the day include an MC, a DJ, a face painter, post-race snacks, and access to the Cohn Park playground.
