Event Details
The Lace Up For Learning is a nonprofit founded in 2024 by a group of students. Its annual event raises money for under-resourced classrooms in the greater Sacramento area. In its first two years, it raised over $30,000, reaching thousands of students.
The event offers three distances:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- Kids Fun Run
The 10 km and 5 km courses use the flat, paved Parkway Trails in Folsom. The Kids Fun Run includes obstacle elements and is held on a large grass field.
