Wise Villa Wine Run 5k
The Wise Villa Wine Run is a 5k event held at Wise Villa Winery & Restaurant in Lincoln, CA (4200 Wise Road). Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a chip timed race bib, online results, and a pour of wine for eligible participants.
The course starts and finishes at the winery and follows two loops around the property, offering views of the grounds and surrounding area. The route is hilly and has uneven terrain. Runners and walkers use the same course; participants who choose to stop after one loop may proceed directly to their wine pour if they notify event staff.
FieldHaven Feline Center is the event charity partner. FieldHaven began as a small rescue in 2003 and expanded to a purpose-built shelter completed in 2011 in cooperation with the UC Davis Koret Shelter Medicine Program. The center operates indoor/outdoor community rooms and suites and provides adoption and community programs.
Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each 10-year category, with categories from 19 and under through 80 and over. Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for awards; age group medals are available only on the day of the event and may be picked up at the registration table after results are posted.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday and Friday at the winery with a 25% discount on wine bottle purchases for those who check in early. Parking at the winery is limited and parking attendants will direct traffic. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
