Wild Flowers 10K : Auburn, CA
The Wild Flowers 10K is a women's only road and trail running event held in Auburn on April 17, 2027. The course begins at the Auburn Overlook and follows a loop of scenic local trails that include single-track sections, rolling stretches, flats, and both downhills and uphills. The route features viewpoints and two fully stocked aid stations. Organizers will provide a race crew on course.
Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. Registration opens on April 11, 2026 and closes on April 18, 2027. The registration fee is $80. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the race and on race morning. A course preview day is listed as to be announced. Parking options include Railhead Park, neighborhood streets, areas by the high school, and two public lots in Old Town Auburn; parking in Old Town may require up to a one mile walk to the start.
Awards include prizes for the top three overall 10K finishers and top three finishers in age divisions 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75 and over. The event notes that the overall winner receives a trip to Spain and four additional finishers will be chosen to receive all-expenses-paid trips to Spain for a women's running camp in Vigo, Galicia; winners must obtain or show a passport within 30 days.
