Labor Day Dash 5K : Hidden Valley Regional Park
The Labor Day Dash 5k is scheduled for September 4, 2027, at Hidden Valley Regional Park in Reno, Nevada. The event features a single 5K trail race held on a mostly flat course with a few rolling hills and scenic views.
Packet pickup is available the day before and on race day at the Hidden Valley Regional Park trailhead near the water towers. All participants receive a Sport Tek t-shirt, a finisher medal, and a sticker. Professional photography will be provided by Comet Creation.
The race is a USATF sanctioned event. Ages 5 and up are welcome. EMS services are provided by REMSA. Only service dogs are permitted at the venue because of the USATF sanctioning.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers as overall award medals. The top three finishers in each age group and gender receive ribbons. A raffle at the conclusion of the 5K includes a one month unlimited membership to F45 Training and a swag bag.
The event is a fundraiser benefiting Azteca FC, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides athletic opportunities in track and field, cross country, trail running, soccer, and futsal. Azteca FC is a registered USATF club in the Pacific association and uses proceeds to help send athletes to regional and national competitions.
