Rise and Shine 5K, 10K, 15K and Half Marathon : Long Beach, April 4, 2027
The Rise and Shine race day offers multiple distances on a flat, scenic Belmont Shore course along Ocean Blvd. The route uses marked out and back loops on the beach path and is an open course shared with other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
Distances included:
- 5K out and back loop on the beach path
- 10K two 5K loops
- 15K three 5K loops
- Half Marathon three 4.36 mile loops
Chip timing and live results are provided. Aid is located at the turnaround/start/finish and includes water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Participants receive custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, event photos and videos, cinematic highlight reels, and age group awards that must be picked up at the race. The event also offers trophies and achievement badges, an Ascend Index ranking, and an app for tracking races, photos, and videos.
Transfers are allowed by contacting the organizer. There is a no refund policy. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit. Volunteers may receive free race entry. Parking is free in nearby residential areas; the beach parking lot requires paid parking. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
