Rockin Shamrock 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon : Long Beach, March 14, 2027
A Better World Running stages a multi-distance road race along the Long Beach shoreline path in Belmont Shores. The course uses marked out-and-back loops on the beach path and is an open course shared with pedestrians, runners, and cyclists. The turnaround at the start/finish area includes an aid station offering water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and energy gels.
Distances offered:
- 5k
- 10k (two 5k loops)
- 15k (three 5k loops)
- Half Marathon (three 4.36 mile loops)
Event services include chip timing, live results, and age-group awards. Participants receive custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, event photos linked to bibs, and race videos including highlight reels. Additional features listed for the event are trophies and achievement badges, an Ascend Index ranking and crew feature, free app access for managing race media, and an assortment of snacks and samples.
Registration options and fees are listed for online and race-day entry; race-day prices are shown for each distance. Transfers are allowed through the organizer; the event has a no-refund policy. There is a 3 hour 15 minute limit for the half marathon. Parking in nearby residential areas is free; beach parking is available for a fee.
