Rockin Shamrock 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon - Long Beach
The Rockin Shamrock event on March 14, 2027 offers multiple road running distances along the Long Beach Shoreline Path at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Belmont Shores, Long Beach, CA 90803. The organizer is A Better World Running.
The course is an open, marked route on the beach path and uses out-and-back loops. An aid station is located at the turnaround and start/finish area and provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and energy gels. The half marathon is run as three repeats of a 4.36 mile loop.
Distances:
- 5 km out and back
- 10 km two 5 km loops
- 15 km three 5 km loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
Included with registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, chip timing, live results at the finish, free photos linked by bib, free videos and cinematic highlight reels, age group awards (picked up at the race only), trophies and achievement badges, and an event app for tracking races, photos and videos. The organizer also notes snacks and samples and describes the experience as friendly, relaxed and personal.
Race day fees are listed for each distance. Transfers are allowed only through the organizer and the event has a no refund policy. There is a three hour fifteen minute time limit for the half marathon; requests for additional time must be made to the organizer.
