Ocean Breeze 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon : Long Beach, February 28, 2027
A Better World Running stages a multi-distance road race along the Long Beach Shoreline Path at 5400 E. Ocean Blvd, Belmont Shores, Long Beach, CA 90803. The course uses the beach path and is an open course; runners should expect other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists on the route.
The event offers these distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km (two 5 km loops)
- 15 km (three 5 km loops)
- Half marathon (three 4.36 mile loops)
The route is marked and configured as out-and-back loops. An aid station is located at the turnaround/start area and provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit; transfers and late start requests are managed by the organizer and there is a no-refund policy.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, drawstring goodie bag, free photos linked to bib numbers, video highlights, live results at finish, trophies and achievement badges, an Ascend Index ranking with Ascend Crew features, and access to a race app for tracking races, photos, and videos. Race day registration is offered with on-site payment options; published race day fees are 5k $35, 10k $40, 15k $45, half marathon $50.
