About the race
A Better World Running stages a multi-distance road race on the Long Beach shoreline path in Belmont Shores at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA. The course uses marked out-and-back loops on the beach path and includes an aid station at the turnaround offering water cups, water bottles, sports drink cups, and energy gels.
Distances offered:
- 5k out-and-back on the beach path
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36-mile loops
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, drawstring goodie bag, free photos matched by bib, free videos and cinematic race highlight reels, live results at finish, trophies and achievement badges for milestones, an Ascend Index ranking and Ascend Crew features, and a free event app. The organizer provides an assortment of snacks and samples and describes a family-friendly, relaxed racing environment. Group discounts are applied automatically for three or more participants via Race Ascend; larger group discounts are available through the organizer.
Race day registration prices are listed by distance in the event information. Transfers are allowed only by organizer request and there is a no-refund policy.
