Happy Lunar New Year 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon - Long Beach
A Better World Running stages a multi-distance road race on the Long Beach Shoreline Path in Belmont Shores on February 6, 2027. The course uses the beachfront path and is an open course; participants are asked to be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists. The route is marked and consists of out-and-back loops.
Distances
- 5k: out-and-back route
- 10k: two 5k loops
- 15k: three 5k loops
- Half marathon: three 4.36 mile loops
An aid station is located at the turnaround at the start/finish and supplies water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and energy gels. Registration includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free videos, live results at finish, age group awards to be picked up at the race, free photos located by bib, cinematic race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges, Ascend Index rankings, the Ascend Crew feature, and a free A Better World Running app. Snacks and samples will be available on site.
Race day registration fees stated for event day are: 5k $35, 10k $40, 15k $45, half marathon $50. Transfers are allowed only by email request to the organizer and there is a no refund policy.
