Happy Holidays 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon - Long Beach
The event on December 26, 2026 offers multiple run and walk distances along the Long Beach path in Belmont Shores at 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. The course layout includes an out-and-back 5k and looped courses for the longer distances. Pacers and crew are welcome, and running or walking with a stroller is allowed. There are numerous restrooms and water fountains along the route.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos and videos, live results when a participant finishes, cinematic race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges at milestones, an Ascend Index ranking, and access to a free event app to track races, photos, and videos. An assortment of snacks and samples is provided.
Course formats:
- 5 km out-and-back
- 10 km two 5 km loops
- 15 km three 5 km loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mi loops
The half marathon has a 3:15 time limit. The event describes a friendly, relaxed and personal racing experience and notes that registration is affordable and family-oriented.
