Happy Holidays 2026 : Long Beach
Happy Holidays is a post holiday running event on the Belmont Shores beach path in Long Beach at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803. The event offers multiple distances on an open, marked beach path course with out-and-back loops. Participants should be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists on the path.
Distances offered:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
- Half marathon (three 4.36 mile loops)
Course notes: the 5K is a single out-and-back; the 10K is two 5K loops; the 15K is three 5K loops. An aid station is located at the turnaround/start-finish area and provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and GU gels. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit; alternate start arrangements can be requested from the organizer.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, drawstring goodie bag, free photos associated with bib number, free videos and cinematic race highlight reels, live results at finish, snacks and samples, and a free event app. Age group awards are available for pickup at the race only and will not be mailed.
Logistics: bib pickup takes place on race morning. Parking is free in nearby residential areas; the beach parking lot is paid and uses a ticket machine or the Passport Parking app (zone 9372). Transfers and group registrations are handled through the event organizer. There is a no refund policy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
