The event on October 31, 2026 takes place in Long Beach at 5400 E Ocean Blvd. It offers multiple race distances on measured loop and out-and-back courses and welcomes runners and walkers.

Course details note a 5k out-and-back route, the 10k as two 5k loops, the 15k as three 5k loops, and the half marathon as three 4.36 mile loops. Pacers and crew are allowed at any time. There are numerous restrooms and water fountains along the course. Running or walking with a stroller is permitted. The half marathon has a 3:15 time limit and an early start can be arranged if additional time is needed.
Registration includes custom finisher medals and drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos, live results at the finish, cinematic race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges, an Ascend Index ranking and Ascend Crew features, a free A Better World Running app for race tracking, and an assortment of snacks and samples.
