Labor Day 5K at Little Mulberry Park
The Labor Day 5K takes place on September 5, 2026 at Little Mulberry Park (Fence Road side) in Dacula, Georgia. It is a running race held entirely on asphalt trails with a listed distance of 5K.
The course is described as 100% asphalt, 10 to 12 feet wide, and routes around the park pond, playground areas, and the East and West Meadow loops. The start and finish are located near the large pavilion. Course landmarks and mileage points are provided by the organizer.
Registration is open with a participant cap of 250 runners and the event will be held rain or shine. Entry fees for the 5K are $35 through August 22, $40 from August 23 through September 3, and $45 on race day if entries remain. Packet pickup takes place the morning of the race.
Shirts for 2026 are a super soft tri blend offered in men's and women's sizes. There is no guarantee of a shirt for late or race day registrants.
Event policies include no dogs, no skates, and no bikes on the course; runners with strollers are asked to start at the back. Headphones and earbuds are allowed at a volume that permits awareness of others. Bib numbers serve as emergency identification and should not be transferred.
Awards include medals and prizes for overall top three male and female finishers and medals for the top three in each age group. Age groups include 14&U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75&U. Medals will be handed out when categories have enough finishers and must be claimed in person. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
