Suwanee Beer Fest Beer Chaser 5K
The Suwanee Beer Fest Beer Chaser is an annual 5K held at Suwanee Town Center Park. The course runs along the Suwanee Creek Greenway and returns to Town Center Park. The route may be adjusted for inclement weather.
The event offers two participation options: a timed run that qualifies for the Peachtree Road Race, and a sampling option with five Refueling Stations along the course. Each Refueling Station provides a 3 oz beer sample from a different Georgia brewery. All participants over 21 receive a full pour at the finish; beer sampling requires a valid photo ID and wrist band. Packet pick-up is available the day before at Big Peach in Suwanee Town Center and on race day at the Suwanee Magazine tent. IDs are required for packet pick-up and wrist-banding.
Participants receive an official Beer Chaser 5K shirt, a medal and a pub glass; registration by February 12 guarantees those items on race day. The event includes awards for best St. Paddy’s Day costumes with prizes for the best individual and best group costumes. An after party at StillFire Brewing, located across from Town Center Park, features live music, a food truck and additional beers on tap.
