La Course 5K
La Course: 5K is a community run and walk organized by the French American School of Rhode Island (FASRI). The event is scheduled for October 4, 2026, in Providence, Rhode Island.
The race course begins and ends at Carousel Village in Roger Williams Park, 1000 Elmwood Ave, Providence, RI 02907. The course runs through Roger Williams Park.
Distances and categories:
- 5K Run/Walk: $40; participants 13 years and up.
- Kids 1 Mile Run/Walk: $20; participants up to 12; parents may run with kids.
All participants receive a race T shirt. The T shirt provided will aim to match the sample design and color, but the final product may differ slightly because of screen resolution, lighting, and production processes.
The event lists several community sponsors, including Scott Volkswagen, Tony's Seafood, Anchor Orthodontics, Titan Technology Services, Insomnia Cookies, Marathon Sports, Washington Trust, and Northeast Construction.
The organizer states a nondiscrimination policy.
