Kyles 10 Miles Run/Walk
The Kyles 10 Miles Run/Walk is a 10 mile road event on Argyll's Secret Coast on 12 Sep 2026. The circular route starts from the village of Tighnabruaich and loops around the Ardlamont peninsula with views of the Mull of Kintyre and Arran. The course is hilly for the first five miles and flattens for the second half as it follows the coastal road into Kames.
There are two event options:
- 10 miles run (Scottish Athletics affiliated)
- 10 miles walk (non competitive)
The run uses chip timing. All entrants receive a medal and a wicking T shirt. Monetary prizes and trophies are awarded to run winners, including overall and veteran categories. Race numbers for runners are posted before the event so on the day registration is not required. Toilets at the start are limited; public toilets are available in Tighnabruaich and Kames. The finish is in front of the Kames Hotel where refreshments and a BBQ will be available.
Entry details include online fees of £32 for runners (£30 for UKA/SAF affiliated) and £25 for walkers. Runners must be 17 years or older on race day. Entries are limited to 400 runners and 100 walkers. Refunds are not given and places cannot be transferred. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
