Kyles 10 Miles Run/Walk : Tighnabruaich, Argyll
The Kyles 10 Miles Run/Walk takes place on 12 September 2026 and uses a circular road route from the village of Tighnabruaich around the Ardlamont peninsula. The course offers views of the Mull of Kintyre and Arran.
The route features a hilly first five miles followed by a flatter second half along the coastal road into Kames. The event finishes in front of the Kames Hotel where refreshments and a BBQ will be available. Runners will have chip timing; all entrants receive a medal and a wicking t-shirt. Monetary prizes and trophies are awarded to run winners.
Entry details and rules are set out for both options. The run is Scottish Athletics affiliated while the walk is non competitive. Online entry fees are advertised as £32 for runners (£30 for affiliated entrants) and £25 for walkers. Runners must be at least 17 years old on race day. Affiliated entries require a UKA or SAF number or payment of an additional £2 at registration. Refunds are not given and places cannot be transferred.
Facilities and limits: race numbers for runners are posted before the event, on-site toilets at the start are very limited, public toilets are available in Tighnabruaich and Kames, and entries are limited to 400 runners and 100 walkers.
