Renfrewshire AAA Road Race Championships 2026
This championship event is hosted by Inverclyde AC at Battery Park, Eldon Street, Greenock PA16 7QG on Sunday 8 February 2026. Races are organised for senior, U20 and younger age groups and take place within and around Battery Park.
Course details note that Senior and U20 races leave the park onto the Greenock Esplanade before returning to finish inside the park. Younger age groups race entirely within Battery Park on traffic free roads. All courses have been officially measured. Event and course maps will be available from Scottish Athletics and displayed near the start area. Chip timing will be provided for every race.

- Senior Men & Women including U20: 5 miles
- Boys U11: 1.6 km
- Girls U11: 1.6 km
- U13 Boys & Girls: 3 km
- U15 Boys & Girls: 3 km
- U17 Men & Women: 4 km
Facilities and event notes: public toilets are available in the park; there are no changing rooms or showers. A designated area for club tents is provided near the start and finish. First aid is located near the start and finish area. Catering with tea, coffee and light refreshments will be available. Parking is available in the public car park by the Skatepark on a first come, first served basis, with additional on-street parking nearby. An area near the Pavilion is reserved for officials and first aid.
Declarations take place at the Battery Park Pavilion; U20 and Senior athletes must collect their own race number and timing chip while team managers may collect packs for junior athletes. Individual and team medals will be awarded across specified age categories once results are confirmed. Provisional results will be displayed on the Pavilion windows and final results posted on the Scottish Athletics website. No late or on the day entries will be accepted.
