2026 KWAOR President's 5K
The KWAOR President's 5K is a community event held at Warwick City Park in Rhode Island. Organized by the Kent Washington Association of REALTORS, the event serves as a charity fundraiser for South County Habitat for Humanity and the RP4 Foundation. The proceeds from registrations and sponsorships support affordable housing initiatives and services for families and individuals.
The event features two primary participation options:
- 5K (Timed running race)
- Walk (Non-competitive)
The course includes designated start and finish areas with safety measures and volunteer support provided throughout the route. Children aged 10 and under can participate at no cost. Registration is conducted exclusively online before the event, as no entries are accepted on the morning of the race.
Participants can collect their race bibs and shirts during a pre-race pickup session in East Greenwich the day before the event or at the park on the morning of the race. A photo ID is required for check-in. The race utilizes electronic timing, with overall winners determined by gun time and age group winners determined by chip time.
Individual first-place awards are recognized across several age categories, including under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. The top overall male and female finishers also receive recognition. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
