Cascade Slide (Bar Edition) : Kunanyi Trail Series
The event is a trail running series held at the Cascade Brewery Bar gardens in South Hobart, with courses routed on nearby tracks and ridgelines beneath Kunanyi. The terrain includes single track through open woodlands and rainforest gullies, a main fire break and smooth fire trail, mountain bike switchbacks on Slides Track, sections through McRobies Gully and a community-built mountain bike trail called Jurassic Shark, and prominent ridgeline running above the brewery.
Three course options are offered:
- 17 km Enduro with extended ridgeline and varied trail surfaces.
- 11 km Sport following many of the same ridgelines and fire trails.
- 4 km Explorer (Cascade 4.0) using flowing single track, a steep uphill, descent, Old Farm Road bridge crossing and the Golden Gully ridgeline.
The event is listed as the final event of the 2026 series and takes place on Halloween. The Cascade Brewery Bar serves as the event hub and a location for post-event food and drinks.
