Runners who reach the Pinnacle in under two hours receive a P2P sub 2 hour cap, awarded only if the event reaches the Pinnacle.
Prizemoney is offered for top finishers in both events, with equal male and female prize values for the Point to Pinnacle and additional bonuses for race records. A Corporate Cup is awarded using the combined fastest four finishing times per registered corporate team. Team categories include Competitive four-person teams, Corporate teams, Recreational / Social teams, and Club teams.
Event services include spectator and gear buses, course drink stations, professional race photography, and pacers organised by the Tasmanian Road Runners. Walkers must not run in the Point to Pinnacle walk; runners may walk during the run but must meet all timing cut offs. Age rules apply for walkers and runners and younger participants on the Point to Pub. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
