Event Details
The Krumpe's Donut Alley Rally 5K is a 5K run/walk. The event starts and finishes at Krumpe's Do-nut Shop in Hagerstown, Maryland. The course goes through residential areas in the south end of Hagerstown and through Rose Hill Cemetery. The surface is smooth macadam road and the route is described as mostly level with a few gentle hills.
Beneficiary
This is an evening event where 100% of the net proceeds (gross receipts minus event expenses) will be paid to the Wounded Warrior Project and The Mason-Dixon Warrior Adventures.
Race Amenities and Awards
Registration includes a race t-shirt and a custom race bib. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers: $100 for first place, $75 for second, and $50 for third. The top three finishers in each age group receive medals, contingent on a necessary minimum attendance.
On-Course Support
There are two water stations located on the course in the cemetery, and a third water station at the finish line where helpers also hand out water bottles.
Additional Information
Early packet pickup is available on the Thursday before the race at Krumpe's Donut Shop, where participants can get their race bib and shirt and enjoy a free glazed donut. Spectators can view both the start and finish at the donut shop. A free band performs before and after the race. The event has a no-refund policy.
