Event overview
The Kris Kringle 5 Mile Run is scheduled for Sunday, December 28, 2025, in Leesport, Pennsylvania. The race is organized by the Pagoda Pacers Athletic Club and is the 39th annual running of the event. The course covers a mix of road and easy trail sections through Blue Marsh and the Union Canal Trail and will be run clockwise this year. Strollers and walkers are permitted; dogs are not allowed. Proceeds benefit the Berks County Cross Country Coaches Association.
Registration, fees and race-day details
The event offers the 5-mile race and a separate hoodie-only option. Online registration closes on December 15, 2025. Entry fees are $25 per runner through November 27, 2025, and $30 per runner from November 28 until the online deadline; same-day registration is available at $30 (hoodies will not be available then). Hoodies are Indigo Blue, cost $22 if ordered by November 27, 2025, and must be picked up at the race before the start; no mailing or additional sales at the event. Awards include overall top two male and female finishers (not eligible for age-group awards) and top three male and female in 5-year age brackets from under-14 through 80, plus an 80+ category.
