Kris Kringle 5 Mile Run
The Kris Kringle 5 Mile Run is the 40th annual five mile running event held on December 27, 2026 at the Berks County Agricultural Center, 1238 County Welfare Rd., Leesport, PA 19533. The event is an official race of the Pagoda Pacers Athletic Club and benefits the Berks County Cross Country Association.
The course features a mix of road and easy trail sections through Blue Marsh and the Union Canal Trail and will be run counter clockwise this year. Strollers and walkers are welcome. Dogs are not permitted at the event.
Registration details are as follows: registration opens August 5 and registration closes November 30; online registration will close on December 16. Entry fees are $25 per runner through November 30; day of registration is $30. All registration fees cover race entry only; apparel is not included.
Apparel and extras: hoodies are optional, not included with race registration, and will not be reordered after the ordering deadline of November 30. Unclaimed hoodies remaining after the award ceremony may be sold for $25 while supplies last. A limited edition Kris Kringle running hat is offered at $18 with an ordering deadline of November 30; no extra hats will be ordered. The hat option is presented separately during registration.
Awards: overall top two male and female finishers (not eligible for age group awards) and top three male and female in five year age brackets from under 14 through 80 plus an 80 plus category.
