Kokosing Alberici Traylor Engineers Day 5K : Sault Sainte Marie, MI
The Kokosing Alberici Traylor Engineers Day 5K is held in Sault Sainte Marie at Ashmun Bay Park and the Ashmun Bay Boat Launch on June 26, 2026. The course runs from the boat launch to the Ted Caffey Memorial Trail to South Street and back, and is a 100% soft surface route made up of gravel road and snowmobile trail.
The course offers views of freighters, the start of the power canal, the international bridge, and shoreline foliage. Chip timing is used with a common start/finish timing mat, and results are provided onsite and online by Yooper Running Company.
Packet pickup is available near the boat launch on race day, with an early pickup option the evening before at Birdseye Outfitters. Each participant receives a medal, post-race refreshments, and is eligible for age group awards. A race T-shirt option is available during online registration for an additional $15. Race day registration accepts exact change cash or Venmo.
Age group awards are given to first place in ten-year divisions from 0-9 up to 80+, and overall awards include Top Male, Top Female, Top Master (40+), and Top Grandmaster (60+). The day after the race there is an International Bridge Walk between Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan and Sault Sainte Marie, Canada; shuttle fees may apply.
