Run The Great Lakes 2026 takes place at Delta Hotels Sault Ste. Marie Waterfront, Saint Mary's River Drive, Sault Ste. Marie, ON, Canada on June 7, 2026. The event features children’s runs and multiple race distances for adults.

Award categories are separated by male and female divisions with age groups: Under 9 (5K only), 10-11 (5K only), 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+. Awards are presented to first-place finishers in each category.
One hundred percent of the registration fee is donated to two local charities: ARCH Hospice and Sault Area Hospital Foundation. ARCH Hospice provides no-cost end-of-life care to Algoma District families and relies on fundraising and volunteers. Sault Area Hospital Foundation supports the hospital by funding medical equipment and aims to raise CA$5 million annually to replace equipment and expand services.
Registration fees include mandatory charges. Registering by May 28 guarantees an event t-shirt where indicated. Posted fees include an early rate of CA$40 plus processing fees and a later CA$45 plus processing fees for some periods; the 1K and 2K list a CA$20 registration fee plus processing fees.
