Event Overview
The YRC Earth Day 5K is a 5 km run and walk in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. It takes place on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in celebration of Earth Day. The event starts from Bird's Eye Outfitters in downtown Sault Sainte Marie.

Venue & Details
Bib pickup starts on race day at 107 E Portage Avenue. All participants receive a token for $1 off a beverage at Bird's Eye Outfitters and can choose a leftover medal from previous Yooper Running Company races. Discounted YRC t-shirts will be available for purchase with cash or Venmo on race day.
Sustainability Efforts
The event encourages sustainable practices. Participants are asked to bring "anything but a cup" to fill their drinks. They are also encouraged to bring empty cans, glasses, or bottles to donate. The donations support the Outhouse Consortium, a non-profit focused on developing and maintaining local trails.
