HOKA Kodiak Ultra Marathons by UTMB is a mountain trail running festival held in Big Bear Lake, California. The event takes place as a two-day festival weekend with two days of racing and a downtown start and finish area where local vendors, a DJ, and a parade are part of the festival activities.

Courses run around Big Bear Lake and pass through varied landscapes and climates including high desert, sub alpine, and semi-arid terrain. Routes include climbs to Sugarloaf Mountain and descents into Siberia Canyon and provide continuous views of the lake. The event serves as the 2026 UTMB World Series Americas Major and awards double Running Stones compared to other UTMB World Series events. As a Major, it grants automatic qualification to 210 runners for the 2027 UTMB World Series Finals.

UTMB Community Bibs are offered; half of the costs from those bibs go to a local charity chosen by the race team. The event is also a dual qualifier for the UTMB World Series Finals and for qualification to the Western States Endurance Run.
