About the race
The Kiwi Multisport Road Duathlon is a multisport and duathlon event scheduled for Sunday 27 September 2026 at Rabbit Island, with the transition area opposite Greenslade Park as the event location.
Participants can choose from four race formats, contested solo or as part of a team:
- Long Multisport: Kayak 6 km, Bike 20 km, Run 4.4 km
- Short Multisport: Kayak 3 km, Bike 10 km, Run 2.2 km
- Long Duathlon: Run 4.4 km, Bike 20 km, Run 4.4 km
- Short Duathlon: Run 2.2 km, Bike 10 km, Run 2.2 km
Following the race there will be a barbecue for competitors and a short spot‑prize prizegiving. The event page identifies mapped bike and run courses.
Entry fees and payment options are published: standard online Adult or Team entry, a 20% club discount for Nelson Tri Club members, a 50% student discount for school students under 18, and a pay‑at‑event cash option with no discounts. Race‑day entries incur a 50% surcharge and are not eligible for discounts. The Nelson Triathlon & Multisport Club operates a no refund policy for club events.
