Kiwanis Resolution Run : Mountain View, CA
The Kiwanis Resolution Run takes place at Mountain View Shoreline Park, 2955 N Shoreline Blvd. The event offers these distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 1K Kids
Both the 5K and 10K use mostly paved walking and bicycling paths that are part of the Bay Trail system and run along levees in the baylands. The Start/Finish area is at Parking Lot E, adjacent to the Kite Flying area. Parking is free. Dogs are not allowed in Shoreline Park.
Race services, awards and registration
Digital chip timing is provided for the 5K and 10K courses. A custom race T shirt is provided to participants who register by mid-December. The event includes awards three deep in each male and female age category (ranges include 5-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 71-80, and 80+). The kids 1K is for ages 1-10 and includes treats and snacks. Registration fees listed on the event pages are: $50 through November 30, $55 through December 15, and $60 thereafter; the kids 1K fee is shown separately on the event pages. Packet pickup is available the weekend before the race at a local running store. The race supports charitable programs of the Kiwanis Club of West San Jose.
