Event details
The Kiwanis Resolution Run takes place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Mountain View Shoreline Park, 2955 N Shoreline Blvd, Mountain View, CA 94043. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K run/walk
- 10K run/walk
- 1K kids run/walk for ages 1-10
Computerized digital chip timing is provided for both the 5K and 10K courses. Dogs and other pets are not allowed in Shoreline Park. Parking is free; the Start/Finish area is in Parking Lot E near the Kite Flying Area.
Course and race amenities
The 5K and 10K courses use mostly paved walking and bicycling paths that are part of the regional Bay Trail system, including levee trails in the baylands. The kids 1K is held adjacent to the Start/Finish area. Post-race refreshments and music are provided. All 1K participants receive a race T-shirt.
Registration, packet pickup and awards
Race registration fees vary by date: $50 through November 30, $55 through December 15, and $60 thereafter; prices include processing fees. Online registration remains open on race day; on-site registration is available. Packet pickup is offered on December 31 and January 2 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Running Revolution, 511 E Campbell Ave, Campbell. Awards are given three deep in each male and female age category for both the 5K and 10K; age groups include 5-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 71-80, and 80+.
