Kiwanis - Achieva VIRTUAL and LIVE Adventure Runs
The event offers both live and virtual running options in Dunedin, Florida, with activities centered at Honeymoon Island State Park. The live program uses a course on the north end of the island with the start and finish in the playground area. Parking is organized in the park's North Lot, with overflow in the Oasis Parking Lot and handicap parking near the playground.
Virtual participants may run anytime during the week of February 9th and manually submit results through their RunSignUp profile. Virtual runners can also obtain a digital bib and printable certificate via their profile.
Live event services include marked courses, course monitors at turns, water stations along the routes, and a complimentary post-race pancake breakfast with beverages available at a drink tent. All live entrants will receive either a finish medal or a long-sleeve tee shirt. Overall men’s and women’s awards will be presented for the live 8K and 5K races. Live registration is limited to the first 500 entrants. Race proceeds benefit the Children of Dunedin and Friends of the Island Parks.
Pre-race packet pickup for live and virtual runners is available at the Troop 10 Scout Building in Dunedin; post-race packet pickup for virtual runners is arranged by appointment after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
