About the race
The Kisatchie Crusher is a two-day multisport weekend at the Caney Lake Park Day Use Area in Minden, LA on September 12–13, 2026. The event combines gravel bike races, paved fondo rides, mountain bike races, and paved 5k and 10k runs around the park and lake.
Courses are chip timed where noted and will be well marked. Support on course includes marshals, aid stations, port-a-potties, and a bike wash station. Helmets are required for all cycling events. E-bikes are allowed for cycling events except on the mountain bike trails where rangers prohibit e-bikes. Single speed categories appear in select gravel and MTB races. Post-race meal and a T-shirt are included with entry; registering by September 3 secures a T-shirt. Early bird pricing and other registration deadlines apply. All proceeds support Bike Minden and the Active Minden Foundation for local trail maintenance and expansion. No refunds.
Event facilities at the Day Use Area include shade, an amphitheater, picnic tables, electrical power, restrooms, a sandy beach, and lake swimming. Onsite camping options are available, including RV campsites with hookups and bunk-style cabins with shared kitchen facilities.
