About the race
Great Owl Running presents Kirkstall Calverley Cutter, a 16-kilometre multi-terrain trail race around Leeds' river and canal network. The route runs along the Riverside Trail, Leeds Liverpool Canal towpath, the Calverley Cutting, and surrounding footpaths, with roughly 200m of elevation. Start and finish near Kirkstall Bridge Inn, with race HQ at the inn.
The course is fully marked and marshalled; entrants receive a route map. The event is cupless, requiring runners to carry a water container and wear warm clothing; weather-appropriate jackets are mandatory. Facilities include toilets, water stations, and bag storage.
Note possible diversions due to flood relief works. Entry options include medals, T-shirts, and Trees not Tees. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
