The Kirkstall Calverley Cutter is a 16 km multi-terrain race organised by Great Owl Running. It takes place in Leeds along the Leeds Liverpool Canal and River Aire, with race HQ at Kirkstall Bridge Inn. The listed entry fee range is £18 to £35 and the event shows an age limit of 18+. An entry limit of 30 places was indicated.

Course and race details

The course is a single lap, undulating and described as a trail/road hybrid using canal towpath, riverside trail and public footpaths. The advertised elevation for the route is about 200 m. The route will be part marked and marshalled at key areas; runners receive a route map or description. Organisers note the course may be diverted if flood relief works require it.

Facilities at the race HQ include toilets and bag storage. Water refill stations are provided but the event is cupless, so runners must bring their own water container. Trail shoes are advised and all runners are required to carry warm clothing suitable for winter conditions. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs.
