Event
Kirkstall Calverley Cutter and Kirkstall Bridge 10km take place on 24 January 2026 at Kirkstall Bridge Inn, 12 Bridge Rd, Leeds LS5 3BW. The programme includes two distances:
- 16 kilometres
- 10 kilometres
Entry fees are listed in the source material as between £18.00 and £35.00. Entrants must be aged 18 or over. Optional extras such as medals, t-shirts, and a "Trees not Tees" donation are offered.
Course and facilities
The routes run along the Leeds Liverpool Canal, the River Aire and nearby public footpaths. Terrain includes canal towpath, riverside trail and some road sections. The longer course has around 200 m of elevation; the shorter course has around 60 m. The course will be marked and marshalled at key areas and runners receive a route map or description. The event is cupless: water refill stations are provided but runners must bring their own water container. A windproof or waterproof jacket and warm clothing are mandatory for the longer event.
Facilities at Race HQ include toilets and bag storage. There are water stations on course. There are no changing facilities and no showers. Parking at the venue is limited; on-street parking is available nearby and the nearest train station is Headingley, about 800 m away. Trail shoes are advised for the mixed terrain.
