Event Overview
The Kirkland Shamrock Run is a running event that takes place in March at Marina Park Public Beach in Kirkland, Washington. It is presented by Lake Washington Physical Therapy and Cascade Stride.
Distances
Participants can choose from several distances:
- A 5K run/walk.
- A 10K run/walk.
- A Little Leprechaun Run, which is a one-third mile event for children that includes a finisher's medal.
Course and Location
The event starts and finishes at Marina Park. The 5K and 10K courses run along Lake Washington Boulevard, offering views of Lake Washington and the Seattle skyline.
Event Day
On the day of the event, packet pick-up and gear check open. The Little Leprechaun Run starts first, followed by the 5K and then the 10K. Results for the top three finishers in the 5K and 10K are announced later in the morning, and the course closes.
