RunCork Half Marathon
The RunCork Half Marathon is scheduled for February 7, 2027. The event is a half marathon of 21.1 km and is limited to 2,500 entries. Entries are set to open in September 2026.
The route runs along the Marina Greenway, past Blackrock Village, and along the banks of the River Lee. The surface is a mix of tarmac roads and the Marina Greenway. The course is described as flat and aimed at fast times.
Entries include a finisher medal and an exclusive event T-shirt, with race packs posted to participants before race day. Professional chip timing with instant results will be used. Water stations are positioned at 5 km, 10 km, 15 km, and 20 km, and toilet facilities are available at those water stations. The course will be fully marshalled and supported, with medical support present. A bag drop is provided at the finish line.
