RunCork Half Marathon
The RunCork Half Marathon takes place on 7 February 2027 in Cork. It is a half marathon (21.1 km) that starts and finishes at Cork marina. The event is limited to 2,500 entries and entries open in September 2026.
The course runs along the Marina Greenway, passes Blackrock Village, and follows the banks of the River Lee. The surface combines tarmac roads and the Marina Greenway. The route is described as flat and fast and is positioned in early February before spring.
Entries include an event T-shirt and a finisher's medal, both posted to participants before race day. The event provides professional chip timing with instant results, water stations at 5 km, 10 km, 15 km and 20 km, and toilet facilities at those water stations. The course is fully marshalled and has medical support throughout. A bag drop is available at the finish area and a race pack collection option is offered the day before and on race morning for those who did not receive postage.
