The event uses a single-lap course that crosses Kingston Bridge and Hampton Court Bridge; the traditional Kingston loop is described as 8.2 miles. The start and finish are both located within Kingston Market Place. The course is primarily on road with sections of Thames gravel path and is described as largely flat. The course is England Athletics certified (Licence ID: 28193) and is fully marshalled, with professional first aid cover and a sweep marshal to assist athletes who do not complete the course.
Support and facilities on the course include a water station at 3.5 miles and toilets near 1 mile and 3.5 miles. Race numbers are for collection only and can be collected beforehand from two shops or from registration tents on race morning. Minimum age is 17 years on the day of the race. Race prizes include running store vouchers for the top three finishers. Race entries are non-transferable and non-deferable; a full refund is available only within 14 days of payment.
