Event overview
The Kingston 10K is organised by River Thames Running and is scheduled for 4th October 2026 in Kingston upon Thames. The race starts and finishes at Kingston Market Place and is run under a Run England licence (ID: 28983). The minimum age to compete is 15 years old on the day of the race. Course and race details
The 10K course runs through Kingston town centre and along the riverside. The route passes under Kingston Bridge, follows the riverside path towards Teddington Lock, goes through Canbury Gardens and returns along the Kingston riverside to Market Place. The course is described as flat and fast, with a mix of traffic-free paths and road sections.
Facilities and services include marshals and sweep marshals throughout the route, full first aid cover, pacemakers, and water stations at 6.4K and at the finish. Course toilets are located at 2.5K and 6.8K. Race numbers are collection only, available from designated shops from 26th September and on race morning. Finishers receive a tech tee, a finisher medal and a goody bag. Prizes for top male and female finishers include vouchers (1st £50, 2nd £25, 3rd £15) and free entry to another River Thames Running event. Entries are non-transferable and non-deferable; refunds are only offered within 14 days of payment. Partner support includes free event photos provided by Russell-Cooke.
