Kingsburg Dala Horse Trot 10K and 2 Mile Run/Walk

The Kingsburg Dala Horse Trot is part of the Ultimate Swedish Festival held in Kingsburg during the third week of May. The running events take place on Saturday morning as an element of the festival, which also features entertainment and food.

The course follows city streets and starts and finishes downtown in front of the fire station. The event benefits the Kingsburg Community Education Foundation.

Registration opens January 10, 2026 and closes March 30, 2026. Listed registration fees are $45 for the 10K and $30 for the 2 mile. There is new pricing with age based discounts for participants 17 and under.

Race shirts are guaranteed only for registrations completed by May 3. Finishers medals are awarded for both the 10K and the 2 mile. Awards include overall male and female placements and age group awards for each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
