The Great American Race
The Great American Race is the sixth annual running event held on July 4, 2026, in Visalia, California. The course uses Riverway Sports Park and the paved trails along the St. Johns Trail, with the event address listed as 3611 N Dinuba Blvd, Visalia, CA 93291.
The program includes multiple event formats:
- 10K (6.2 Miles)
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- Kids Race (1-8), not timed (100 Yards)
- Virtual 5K (3.1 Miles)
Registration opens in August 2025 and closes on dates that vary by event between April 17, 2026 and July 5, 2026. Published registration fees are $35 for the 5K and 10K, $25 for the kids race, and $50 for the virtual entry. Kids age 9 and under are eligible for discounted registration fees at registration.
The virtual entry is run on a participant chosen course and schedule, is not eligible for awards, and results are not posted or official.
