Kinetic Triathlon Festival
The Kinetic Triathlon Festival is a weekend of triathlon races held at Lake Anna State Park in Spotsylvania, Virginia. The festival includes Long Course (Half), Olympic and Sprint triathlons staged from a sandy beach with spectator-friendly views from banked stadium seating and nearby hillsides. The run courses stay largely inside the state park and pass cabin and campground loops.

- Long Course (Half): 1.2 Mile swim, 57 Mile bike, 13.1 Mile run
- Olympic: 1.5K swim, 40K bike, 10K run
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 15.5 Mile bike, 5K run
Swim courses begin on the beach and use a rectangular shape with two turns and sighting buoys approximately every 75 meters. Water temperatures are typically in the mid 60s for some races and can be low 70s at this section of the lake; temperatures are read and posted before the event. The Long Course swim is a one-loop layout, the Olympic is one loop, and the Sprint is a shorter one-loop course.
Bike courses run on rolling rural roads with varied terrain and good pavement. The Long Course bike has about 2000 feet of climbing and multiple aid station passes; aid stations and technical/sag support are provided on courses. Run courses are looped, largely shaded or wooded, and include aid stations on the Long Course approximately every mile. The event is USA Triathlon sanctioned and offers Age Group, Aquabike, Military, Clydesdale, Athena and Relay categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
