Kinetic Triathlon Festival
The Kinetic Triathlon Festival takes place Saturday and Sunday, May 9-10, 2026, at Lake Anna State Park in Spotsylvania, Virginia (6800 Lawyers Rd, Spotsylvania, VA 22551). The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. The festival stages a Long Course (half) and Olympic distance on Saturday and a Sprint distance on Sunday. The venue uses a sandy beach swim start and a freshwater swim with reported water temperatures in the mid 60s. The run course is entirely inside the state park and the bike course uses rolling country roads. Banked stadium-style seating overlooks the swim area, run course and finish line.

- Olympic Triathlon Relay - team entry for 2 or 3 people
- Sprint Triathlon - 750 m swim, 15.5 mi bike, 5 km run
- Sprint Aquabike - 750 m swim, 15.5 mi bike
- Sprint Triathlon Relay - team entry for 2 or 3 people
The festival uses a time trial swim start, sending two athletes every few seconds, with an option to position at the front for an Elite Box Start.
Registration and included items
Registrations note age minimums per event and published entry fees. Race registration typically includes a finisher medal, long-sleeved tech shirt, custom race socks, packet pickup bag, timed results, age group awards, a post-race meal, finisher certificate and free finish-line photos.
