Kinder Trog

The Kinder Trog is a long-distance fell race held in the Hayfield area. The event covers a significant distance of 15.5 miles (approximately 25 km) and includes a total ascent of 2,950 feet (900 meters). It is classified as a "Long" race within the local running series.

The race follows Fell Runners Association (FRA) rules. Registration and the start of the event take place at the Scout Hut on Swallow House Lane. Participants are required to carry full FRA kit during the race. The event is open to runners aged 18 and over.

Registration and entry are handled on the day of the event only. There is a tiered entry fee system with a discount provided for members of the Fell Runners Association.
