Kinder Downfall - Sun 26 Apr 2026
Kinder Downfall is a fell race held in the Hayfield area of the Peak District on Sun 26 Apr 2026. The course covers approximately 15.4 km (9.6 miles) with about 600 m of ascent. Registration takes place at the Scout Hut on Swallow House Lane and the race starts in the centre of Hayfield, with the start a short walk from registration.
Entry is by online pre-entry only; there are no entries on the day. Pre-entry fees are charged for members and non-members. The field is limited to 300 runners. All competitors must be aged 18 or over on race day.
Teams are permitted, with separate men's and women's team categories scored on three runners per team. The event holds a permit and carries associated UK Athletics insurance via the Fell Runners Association. Full FRA kit is required and will be subject to checks.
