Kim's Kindness 5K
The event is a community fundraiser held at Mattituck Junior-Senior High School in Mattituck, New York. Proceeds support the Kim's Kindness organization and a memorial scholarship fund that provides annual scholarships to graduating seniors from the local high school and makes donations to community organizations.
There are multiple events for different ages and distances. Distances offered include:
- 3.1 Miles 5K run-walk
- 0.5 Miles half mile walk
- 500 Yards kids fun run with age-based short dashes (ages 1 to 5 and 6 to 10)
On-site offerings include food, music, raffles, and finisher medals. Dry-fit T-shirts are available for participants who register by 03/14/2026. Awards for the 5K include top three male and female finishers overall and top three males and females in the following age groups: 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 71-80, and 80 plus.
