Event
The SRC 10 Mile Run to Moriches Field Brewery is scheduled for January 17, 2026 in Center Moriches, NY (1 Wilcox Ave, Center Moriches, NY 11934). The race offers a 10-mile in-person event, a charity entry option for the same distance, and a virtual Moriches Field Brewery Run. The in-person event is restricted to participants age 21 and older and is capped at 750 registrants. A charity entry option allows 10 participants to register for $1 with a required $500 fundraising minimum; those funds will be split between two local charities. Net proceeds from the event will be donated to the named beneficiaries.
Course and awards
The course is USATF certified and runs through Center Moriches with water views of Moriches Bay, Senix Creek, and local inlets. The route runs down Main Street near the halfway mark, passes parks, crosses several small bridges, and includes one hill on Canal Street. Awards include custom beer steins for the top three overall and masters finishers, pint glass awards for age-group top three finishers (age groups start at 21-24, then five-year bands to 80+), and medals for all finishers. All participants receive a long-sleeve technical race shirt.
Logistics
Packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday 1/15 at Sayville Running Company and Friday 1/16 at Moriches Field Brewery; there will be no race-day pickup. Free parking is provided at Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck with shuttle buses returning participants from the finish to parking. A paid round-trip bus to the start is available from Sayville and Patchogue for $40. The event includes a post-race party on brewery grounds in heated tents with catered food (including vegan options), live music, and brewery beer. A 2 hour 15 minute finish time limit applies.
