Killingworth Road Race 4 Miles
The event is a community road race of 4 Miles held in Killingworth, Connecticut on August 29, 2026. Proceeds support the church missions budget, including the Eddy Homeless Shelter and local shoreline food pantries.
Registration is offered in multiple stages. Early pre-registration (prior to July 31, 2026) lists fees of $25 for adults age 18 and over and $18 for participants under 18, plus a processing fee. A performance T shirt is available for an additional $8 during early pre-registration. Standard pre-registration from August 1 to August 28 lists fees of $28 for adults and $20 for under 18, plus processing fees. Race day registration lists fees of $30 for adults and $22 for under 18, plus processing fees.
Awards are organized by multiple categories, a total of 17. Trophies are given to the first three in categories and a medal is awarded to the top finisher in each age category. Recognized finishing categories include top male, top female, and top Killingworth resident finishers, as well as age group categories: under 12, age 12 to 17, age 18 to 39, age 40 to 49, age 50 to 59, age 60 to 69, and age 70 and over.
