City of Killeen Turkey Trot 5K
The City of Killeen Turkey Trot 5K is an annual running and walking event held at the Stonetree Golf Club in Killeen, Texas. Participants navigate a course set within the grounds of the golf club. The event is part of the Cen-Tex Series, a regional collection of races.
The primary objective of the event is to support the Food Care Center in Killeen. This organization provides nutritional assistance to more than 2,000 people every week, approximately half of whom are children. By participating in this event, runners and walkers contribute to the funding efforts for this local community resource.
