City of Killeen Turkey Trot 5K
The City of Killeen Turkey Trot 5K takes place on November 7, 2026 at Stonetree Golf Club, 1600 Stonetree Drive, Killeen, TX 76543. The event offers a chip-timed 5K run or walk and is part of the Cen-Tex Series.
Proceeds support the Food Care Center in Killeen. The Food Care Center provides food to more than 2,000 people per week, and approximately half of those served are children.
Award categories include overall male and female winners and the top three male and female finishers in age groups. No duplicate awards will be given. Age groups listed include 11&U, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34 and continue up to 70+.
Registration opens March 2, 2026 and closes November 4, 2026. The listed registration fee is $30. Registration is accepted on personal devices only and payment is by credit card only. Race-day registration and packet pick-up are available on the day of the event. A T-shirt is available for registrations through the week of the race; after that, shirt availability on race day is on a potluck basis.
