Kids Run This 'Hood 5k

The Kids Run This 'Hood 5k is a community athletic event held in Tampa, Florida. Organized by the Westchase Elementary PTA, the event involves the participation of four local Hillsborough County schools: Westchase Elementary, Mary Bryant Elementary, Lowry Elementary, and Deer Park Elementary. The race activities are centered at 9517 West Linebaugh Ave.

The event features two primary distances:

5k Run
Kids Fun Run

The 5k Run is a chip-timed competition open to participants aged 4 and older. Following the timed race, the Kids Fun Run takes place. This portion of the event is a non-timed color run specifically designed for children aged 12 and under.

In addition to the running events, the day includes a post-race celebration for participants and the community. Registration for the event includes options for school teams, and donation opportunities are available to support the participating schools.
